The Challenge
The homeowners were tired of their outdated master bathroom tile and wanted a full refresh. The old tile, backer board, and waterproofing all needed to come out before anything new could go in.
The Approach
We stripped the shower down to the studs, replacing the backer board and waterproofing system before setting new tile. Instead of a standard recessed niche, which the homeowners weren't fond of, we built three custom corner shelves out of tile for shampoo and product storage. A vertical decorative stripe accent runs through the shower wall as the visual centerpiece.

The Result
A completely rebuilt shower with a custom decorative accent and practical corner storage the homeowners actually wanted, not just what was standard.
Worth Mentioning
This is one of our favorite jobs to talk about, not for the tile work, but for what came after. The homeowners and our crew traded homemade blackberry and raspberry jam for their carrot cake cupcakes during the project. Two years later, we still trade jam for baked goods a few times a year.
